Several more schools start the season off with the new feild turf in place and ready to be played on...
On Friday the Comets of Westchester went into Jordan High school looking for their third win in a row. They started off slow with turnovers and penalties. Eventually Coach Seka Edwards got his team in gear and they would go on to beat the Bulldogs 40-18. Led by senior quarterback Nicholas King (14 of 17 for 228 yrds) and linebacker Larry simmons the Comets would win the game and go on to be 3-0 heading into a game with Locke before they rest with a bye week. Westchester seems to be rollin this year after a good season and an unfortunate early exit in the playoffs last year.
